Mex., Intl., Gr, World Ch., B.I.S., B.I.S.S., Coatetelco R.G.V. del Olimpo

One of the most prized and better Standard Xolos ever shown.

Multiple winner of all-breed and specialty B.I.S. in Mexico, Working-Dog groups and dozens of times prized Best Mexican-bred Dog in Show (one of the top in FCM history). In 1985 Coatetelco won "Best in Show"  in Mexico's largest dog show of all times (an entry of over 5,000 dogs), judging the top authority in Mexico, the worldwide renowned Mrs. Thelma Von Thaden.    (Our beloved Thelma passed away in June 2004. All Mexican dog fanciers are in debt with her forever. We're sure she's now judging dog shows in heaven).

The late Dr. Antonio Eisenhut awarding Tlatoani (handled by Rafael Giménez), Non-Sporting Group 1st. Dr. Eisenhut was a true expert on the breed.

Tlatoani being given Non-Sporting group 1st by Lascie Premio Real. That same day she awarded him Best in Show.

Tlatoani was awarded "Best in Show" in this all breed dog show, by one of our toughest competitors ever, a friend and a great expert in Xolos, the late Countess  Lascelles de Premio Real "Lascie"

Mx., Int., Gr. Ch., World Ch. B.I.S. Tlatoani Olímpico

The finest miniature of all times for his type and movement, an instrumental sire in the breed.

All breed B.I.S. and Multi Best Mexican-bred Dog in Show winner and Non-sporting Group firsts. Never defeated in the breed in his long career in the rings. In the picture being prized by Dr. Antonio Von Eisenhut, another wonderful judge now judging in heaven.

Xólotl being awarded BEST IN SPECIALTY SHOW in Canada by Dr. Eisenhut

This is a picture of XOLOTL at 15 years of age. Our thanks to Renee Wheeler for it.

Can. Am. Mx. Ch. B.I.S.S. Xólotl Itzcuintlan

Xólotl is the beautiful name of the "God of the Extraordinary Things" in Náhuatl, the language of the Aztecs, after which our breed was named. Very few Xolos are worthy of such a name.

Our Xólot certainly did extraordinary things all his life! He was the first Canadian Champion Xolo, always a great success in the show rings in North America, B.I.S. winner in Canada and USA, and his beautiful name is in the pedigrees of many champions and B.I.S. winners, in  Canada, the USA and Europe.

Thank you for giving joy to our lives, we’ll see you again in Mictlan some day, please wait for us and help us across the river when the time comes.
